Welcome to StuffCooksWant, my blog about all the cooking-related gadgets, tools, foods, etc. that I currently own and love or covet and will soon love.

I live in Austin, Texas with my first husband, two medium-sized boys that eat man-sized portions and a mini Aussie that will do anything for bacon grease on her chow.  I run, bike and lift really heavy weights so that I may indulge in my true obsession: food.  I am a Registered Dietitian with a BBA in Info Systems or a computer nerd with a food fetish…your choice.

I am easily-amused, highly-opinionated and slightly OCD.  These are the good things about me.

On StuffCooksWant.com, you will find great products to buy – expensive things right along-side inexpensive stuff.  The idea isn’t that we need to spend a lot of money to make great food, but we do want what we want, damn it.  I will dig up the newest and coolest kitchen stuff, as well as remind you of some old favorites.  We deserve to have the cool cooking tools that we want, otherwise we might just be too crabby to make dinner.  If you see something your favorite cook, or YOU might like that I haven’t posted about yet, let me know with a comment or an email.
