Our local farmer’s market is chock full of gorgeous fresh local produce and my little home garden is even starting to show signs of generating some actual edible food. We’re gonna have a lot of corn, but the jury’s still out on the tomatoes. I’d love a bunch of tips and recipes to help me navigate the farmer’s market and make use of my bumper crops (optimistic thinking!) and Simply Organic looks like just the book to do it.
Simply Organic is organized according to seasons, you know: spring, summer, fall, winter, making your trek through your local farmer’s market easier to navigate. Over 150 recipes including yummies such as: Filet Mignon with mashed Potatoes and Leek Sauce in early spring to Pumpkin Raisin Bread Pudding in autumn. Tons of other great info!
