There are lots of stereotypes about Texans – some of them are pretty accurate – and let’s just all agree that George W. didn’t do much to improve the image of this state. We’re a bunch of gun-totin’, rowdy cowboy-types that wear boots and hats everywhere, especially to church, which we attend religiously (ha!) and at which we arrive in our pickup trucks or on horseback and our front yards are full of oil wells or at least a gas well or two. Oh, and we totally butcher the English language by using words such as y’all and ain’t.
