These knives are known for their sharpness – waaaay sharper than other knives right out of the box and they maintain this slice-ability long after other knives have fallen.  This super power of sharpness is due to the Japanese VG10 steel-clad blade with 32 layers, 16 on each side, of high-carbon stainless steel.  Crafted in the same manner as ancient Samurai swords…now, that’s just cool.  Not recommended if you are going to live in the BIG HOUSE, like OJ.
